No, pets are NOT allowed anywhere on the reserve for safety, disease, and wildlife protection. This includes dogs, cats, birds, or any other exotic species. It does not matter if your pet is still a baby, sick and needs care, etc. There are no exceptions.

No. No day visitors are allowed on Mabalingwe. Please book accordingly for your entire party to stay with you at your preferred accommodation. Guests who stay at different accommodations on Mabalingwe are allowed to visit the different accommodations, but no outside guests are allowed.

No. Mabalingwe is a wildlife reserve, and peace and quiet should be respected at all times. If you are interested in hosting a party outside of our designated commercial entities (which must be booked and facilitated through the reserve), we prefer you look for a more suitable holiday destination. Guests will be asked to leave the reserve without compensation if noise complaints are raised.

Yes, the tap water is safe as it is pumped from our boreholes and is tested on a regular basis, but bottled water is available at the shop for those who prefer it.
